So, “Does He Like Me?” by KDR Games is basically exactly what it sounds like — a relationship quiz app you can grab for free off Google Play or the App Store. It's one of those personality-interactive hybrid apps where you answer questions about a crush or partner and it supposedly tells you how they feel. I downloaded it mostly out of curiosity after seeing it pop up in the entertainment section. First impression after launching? Honestly, it looks pretty generic, like a dozen other quiz apps, with that bright purple pink color scheme and a big “Start” button. It's been installed over a million times, which explains why it showed up in my recommendations. There's no forced registration right away, you just jump into questions, which I appreciated. But I did notice some in-app purchase prompts and a short ad after a few rounds — nothing too annoying unless you really get into it.

Actually using the app, the experience is pretty straightforward. You pick the gender of your crush, answer questions like “Does he laugh at your jokes?” or “How often does he text first?” on a scale of “Never” to “Always.” The interface is slidey and tap-friendly, but after the first five questions I started feeling a little odd cause the advice it gives is super vague — stuff like “He might be shy” or “Give it time.” Onboarding took maybe 20 seconds before I was answering, and there's no tutorial cause it doesn't need one. Daily usage would probably be someone answering once and then forgetting about it. One small tip I found: if you answer all questions the same way every time, it just repeats the same result, which makes it feel even less tailored. I spent maybe 10 minutes going through different scenarios, but the predictions didn't really change much between “he might like you back” and “it's complicated.”

After spending some time with it, I think this app is definitely more for someone bored or anxious about a new crush, especially teens or younger adults who enjoy those “what does it mean?” type quizzes. It's not for anyone looking for serious relationship advice — which honestly, you shouldn't expect from an app anyway. Compared to something like “Love Test” or “Couple Quiz,” this one feels less personalized and more like a generic yes/no generator. It asks simpler questions too, like “Does he look at you a lot?” rather than anything deep. What makes it stand out is how direct it is — no fluff, just questions and a result — but that also makes it feel shallow. I'd probably keep it installed if I had nothing better to do and wanted a quick laugh, but I can see uninstalling it after a week because there's really no long-term value or new content.

features

  • 🎯 The core draw here is the “relationship prediction” angle — you answer yes/no or sliding scale questions about a specific person, and the app spits out a quick verdict like “He's into you” or “Better move on.” It feels playful, but compared to “The Keys” which tries to analyze actual chat logs or behavior patterns, this one relies entirely on your own perceptions, which makes the result feel more like a mirror of your own hope or doubt rather than any real insight.
  • 📊 There is a “compatibility index” meter that fills up as you answer, showing percentages from 0% to 100%. It sounds nice, but it's basically just giving you a point per positive answer. For example, if you say “He texts first” = +20%, but there is no weighting or nuance. A similar app like “Crush Check” actually lets you compare answers with friends, which gives a much more accurate feel.
  • 🎨 The app offers a “custom result” feature where you can share your score on social media with a pre-made graphic card, which is probably the most polished part. It's not unique though — almost every quiz app does this now. The designs are okay but not as cute as “LoveQuest” templates, so sharing feels more like a chore than a flex.

pros

  • 🆓 It's completely free to start — no paywalls for the first few rounds of questions, unlike “Love Meter” which blocks the full detailed result behind a $3.99 unlock. That alone makes it a low-risk download if you just want a quick fun result without spending anything.
  • ⏱️ Speed is a big strength. You can finish a full quiz in under 3 minutes and get a clear result immediately, with no waiting or animations. “Crush Test Pro” for comparison forces you to watch a 15-second ad before showing results, which ruins the flow.
  • 😊 The tone is light and never mean — even if you get a low compatibility score, it says “He might need more time” instead of “He's not interested.” That softer approach makes it feel more reassuring than some alternatives that feel brutally direct like “Date Detective.”

cons

  • 🔄 One of the biggest letdowns is that repeating the quiz with similar answers gives the same result every time, with no variation or hidden outcomes. “Love Quiz Pro” actually randomizes advice slightly so it feels fresh, but here it's just copy-paste feedback if you try different approaches.
  • 💸 There are no in-app purchases for removing ads — most quiz apps now offer an ad-free version for $1.99 or so, but this one just forces you to sit through unskippable 30-second ads after every third quiz. For heavy users, it gets frustrating fast.
  • 📉 The “detailed insight” feature is basically just fluff. Clicking on “Learn More” about your result just shows a generic text blurb like “He probably notices you” without any personalized reasoning. “Signs He Likes You” actually gives you a bullet list of specific behaviors to look for, which is way more useful.
